TEACHERS DAY HUNGAMA
The same was celebrated on the 5th of September. Children sang praises
of worship for their teachers. They showered them with flowers and wishes.
The school parliament was all active and took up the responsibilities of the
show. A prayer service was held to observe the same, followed by a few
cultural programmes. A speech was made by Reyon of Grade IX on Dr.
Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan and highlighted his quality of a great teacher and
thus all the teachers were reminded of their profession as a noble one and
feel proud of themselves.
The parliamentarians also organised fun-time for the teachers. They
conducted games that were full of surprises and excitement. The teachers
were made to cut a 3kg cake which was bought by the children themselves
along with the food ministry. To make the day a never forgettable one. The
teachers were made to dance with a partner of their choice. The show was
ended by offering snacks to the teachers, again this was purely organised by
the students themselves.
The teachers were delighted to see their children grow up to a level where
they could organise, manage and run a show on their own planning and
ability. In exchange to all that the children did for their teachers, the
teachers took up their turn to show their appreciation and love. The
teachers organised for a pot breaking activity (matka) which was completely
enjoyed by the children.
Indeed on this day the teachers held their head high.
