TRINITY CENTRAL SCHOOL
PICNIC TO MANGALORE ON 19.01.2013
As the day dawned to its fullness bringing with it great joys and happiness,
and as the birds flew from their nests with their sweet whispering songs,
the children , the sweet young children of Trinity were on toes and gathered
in great number for the picnic to Mangalore. We began our journey in the
morning at 09.30 a.m and hoped to reach Kudroli temple as early as possible.
Kudroli Temple
The children were wonderstruck by the architecture of the temple. It brought
peace, inner peace to our minds and the atmosphere reminded us of the
Almighty who is omnipresent. The children loved the temple and carried with
them the blessings of God.
Pilikula
The children were excited when they entered Pilikula zoo; we had a very good
time in the zoo. The beautiful landscape with oceans of animals and birds
made the children excited to run here and there. The snakes were just scary
and were as beautiful as the moon on a dark night, the birds were as sweet
as honey and the animals as loving as the baby.
Lunch
The delicious lunch was arranged by the school in the open air garden and we
had a good agape with the family of Trinity, comprising of students,
teaching staff and the non-teaching staff. After the lunch, we boarded our
buses and our next destination was the diary.
Diary visit
We reached Nandini Milk Diary where we saw the packaging of milk and all the
diary products. We were glad to see the hygiene maintained by the workers
and the flow of work. In short, the experience was unique and memorable.
Light House
On the way back, we stopped at Kaup Light house which has a beautiful
landscape and a tall lighthouse. It refreshed our sweet memories we had with
our family, friends and loved ones. The children were excited to jump into
the waters. Some enjoyed themselves digging wells on the shore, building
sand castles whereas some dipped themselves in water and tossed in sand.
The returning journey was amazing as children danced, sang and shouted at
the top of their voices. We reached around 7 p.m back to school where the
parents were eagerly waiting for their children. As birds flew back to their
nests, so did we after spending a happy and a memorable day.
