Children's day and Deepavali @ Trinity Central School
The twin celebration of deepavali, celebration of lights and children’s day
was celebrated together with lots of colour and grandeur. All the children
were welcomed with beautiful flower petals sprinkling on their head and the
body. The lantern and Rangoli competitions were the highlights of the day.
In the morning we had plenty of surprises seeing different types of lanterns
brought by the students and the parents. Within minutes the school was lit
with decorations and the students danced with jubilation. Various games were
conducted to the students by their respective class teachers. The afternoon
session was taken over by the teachers in order to entertain the children
with their dances. Children enjoyed looking at their mentors putting up the
little steps. The cracker show was the main attraction of the celebration.
Fr. Richie, the Principal along with the teachers had guided the children in
burning the crackers. All the children had a wonderful experience of holding
the cracker sticks and flower crackers in their hands and rolled them with
great joy. The celebration ended with sharing of deepavali sweets and
delicious ice-creams.
