The 2nd School Annual Day
Celebration on 11th February 2012
The 2nd Annual day of Trinity Central School, Perampally was held on
Saturday 11th Feb 2012 with great joy and fashion. The theme of the
celebration, “togetherness helps to achieve bigger goals”. Sri. Raghupathi
Bhat, the MLA and close friend of ours was the chief guest along with Dr.
Neri Cornelio, the Principal of Milagres College, Kalyanpur. Dr. Daisy Vas,
Professor at T.M.A. Pai B.Ed College Manipal, Sri. Ramesh Naik, Corporator,
Udupi were the guest of honour. Fr. J.B. Sequeira the superior of Trinity
Vihar was the President of the function. The program began with the
ceremonial welcome by the school band. The hoisting of the school flag was
done by Sri. Raghupathi Bhat. Speaking on the occasion the MLA, lauded the
loving approach of the fathers towards the little children in the school. He
said, two years back this place was like haunted one but today with the
presence of the Capuchin Frs this turned out to be a mini Brindavan and
entire athmospher is very condusive for the mental as well as integral
development of children. He also added that this institution is well known
in and around Udupi district for its standard, discipline and self
sacrificing love of the fathers and teachers. Sri. Raghupathi Bhat was
felicitated by the President for his constant support to trinity in all the
ways. He also assured his total support in the future plannings of Trinity.
Dr. Neri Cornelio in his address appreciated the efforts of Capuchin Frs in
turning the desert into an oasis. Adding further he said God is being
generous to the people by providing such a beautiful school to their
children in this vacinity. Dr. Daisy vas and Sri. Ramesh Naik hailed the
efforts of Frs and staff members in grooming the little ones with loving
care. The prizes were distributed to the students on a special stage which
was prepared only for this purpose. The house championship trophy was
secured by Robert Frost group. The entire program was consisted with folk,
classical and semi classical dances, honesty is the best policy – english
Skit, Kai bisi madi – kannada skit, Pray for me brother – an action play and
national symbols, the finale. The children rose upto the occasion and
performed extremely well to mark the celebration. Nearly thousand parents
and well wishers watched their wards performing on the stage. The presence
of Fr. Manohar, Principal at St. Francis School at Chikodi and many sisters
from the neighbouring schools joined us in the celebration.
