Rooted in Nature, Growing with Care-Kindergarten Grove Celebrates World Environment Day 2026
Where Tiny Hands Plant Seeds for a
Greener Tomorrow
At Trinity Central School, Perampalli, we don''t just
teach children about the Earth. We teach them to love
it, protect it, and grow with it.
On 19th June 2026, our Kindergarten Grove turned World
Environment Day into a living lesson. Through a guided
Nature Walk and Plantation Drive, our youngest learners
discovered a timeless truth: the biggest changes begin
with the smallest hands.
A Walk That Woke Wonder
Our tiny eco-explorers stepped beyond classrooms and
into curiosity. Across the campus, they observed ancient
trees, vibrant flowers, chirping birds, and busy
insects. More than a walk, it was their first
conversation with nature - an introduction to
biodiversity, balance, and the quiet wisdom of the
natural world.
Planting Today, Breathing Tomorrow
True to our ICSE philosophy of "Learning by Doing",
every class adopted a sapling. Each plant was chosen to
connect children with Udupi''s rich natural heritage.
Nursery children planted the medicinal Bone Setter
sapling. Pre-KG chose the sweet Custard Apple sapling.
LKG -A sowed a future Avocado sapling. While LKG-B
planted the everyday magic of Curry Leaves sapling. LKG-C
embraced the king of fruits with a Mango sapling. UKG-A
nurtured Bull''s Heart sapling, lovingly called Ramphal.
UKG -B and UKG-C added more Custard Apple saplings,
strengthening our campus green cover.
More Than an Event. A Promise.
With soil on their hands and hope in their hearts, our
Kindergarten Grove students proved one thing:
sustainability is not taught, it is lived. Every sapling
they nurture today will shade generations tomorrow.
This is the Trinity way - where academic excellence
meets environmental responsibility. We shape children
who are as deeply rooted in values as they are ready for
the world.
''We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors. We
borrow it from our children.''
