Tri- Colour Day Celebration
Tri colour day was celebrated by the tiny
tots of Trinity Central school to celebrate our 78th
Independence Day to commemorate and remember all the
freedom fighters who had contributed and fought for
Indian Independence. The celebration was held on 13th,
14th &15th August.
In India, the term "Tri-Colour" refers to the Indian
National Flag. Our tiny-tots of the Pre-Primary
celebrated the "Tri-Colour Day" in unique way. The
little ones were dressed in three colours of our flag,
and so did the teachers. The classrooms were filled with
tri-colours as students arrived wearing colourful
outfits for the day. It was a sight to behold adorning
our school. To add a touch of excitement, various
activities were organized for the students. The Upper
kindergarten children came dressed up as freedom
fighters and spoke about their significant role in
achieving independence. Similarly the children of Lower
Kindergarten, Pre- KG and Nursery brought different
pictures and objects of National Symbols of India and
spoke about their importance.
To strengthen the cognitive and creative skills in
students, the L.K.G, Pre- KG and Nursery children were
engaged in group activities of paper tearing and
sticking, balloon dabbing with a marble, finger
painting, sprinkling of sand and glitters etc on
National Flag and symbols.
To add on a touch of excitement to the day various
competitions were held to different classes as a part of
bunnies activity. The L.K.G, Pre- KG and Nursery had
colouring competition on National symbols and, U.K.G had
craft competition with Tri- colour theme. This shows
dedication and creativity in making learning fun. One
can truly say that the Tri- Colour Day event was a
magnificent one that not only brought the school
together but also enhanced the creative skills and
cultural awareness of the students. All the parents,
teachers and children wholeheartedly cooperated in
making the celebration bright and colourful. It was
indeed a happy and colourful day. The innocent faces of
our little ones were gleaming and reflecting with joy
and happiness.
