INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2025-26
Today the staff and students of Trinity
Central School, Perampalli bore witness to the
culmination of leadership, responsibilities and new
visions, with the Investiture Ceremony (Cabinet
Swearing-in Ceremony) for 2025-26. Not mindful of the
grey-blue skies, Master Loyal Passanha, the Assistant
Head-boy of the previous academic year 2024-25, welcomed
the distinguished Chief Guest of the ceremony, Mr
Richard Jeevan Moras, Principal of Milagres PU College,
Kallianpur along with the Principal Rev Fr Dominic Sunil
Lobo, Vice Principal and Administrator Rev Fr Amar Lobo,
Academic Co-ordinator Ms Magdalena Lewis, Primary
Section Head Dr Poornima Devadiga, Pre-Primary Section
Head Ms Renita Monteiro, Section Head of Middle School
Ms Shruthi Dsouza and Section Head of High School Ms
Archana Shetty. Attuned to the controlled rhythmic beats
of the school band, Master Loyal led the contingent to
their seats of honour amongst all Trinitarians.
The ceremony commenced with a prayer, mellifluously
rendered by the choir. Following the prayer, Mr Richard
Jeevan Moras and other dignitaries were graciously
escorted to the main dais by the Principal. In her
welcome speech, Ms Swinal Fernandis of Grade 10 not only
presented the words of welcome but also introduced the
credentials of the Chief Guest.
The momentous proceedings of the Investiture ceremony
began with the disciplined march past of the newly
appointed school cabinet leaders for the academic year
2025-26. Dutifully led by the Head Boy, Master Ryan Noel
Pinto and Head Girl Ms Ifra Taj, the cabinet leaders
took to their positions across the sides of the stage.
Consenting to adhere to their new responsibilities with
discipline, equality and sincerity, the cabinet leaders
were officially sworn in by the Principal with the
rendition the oath. Close on heels, the baton of
leadership was officially handed over to the new cabinet
leaders, by the flag-bearers of the 2024-25 Cabinet.
The event was formally inaugurated, with lighting of the
lamp by the dignitaries on the dais, Head Boy and Head
Girl. On behalf of his leaders, the Head Boy Master
Ryan, conveyed that they would uphold and respect the
responsibilities assigned, and that he will lead with
fairness and integrity.
In his speech, the Chief Guest Mr Richard Moras shared
that education is not just about learning from books and
only gaining knowledge. In the most astute way, he
conveyed that developing skills, upskilling oneself,
learning from mistakes and growing out of it, respect
for self and others, and regular reading, being aware
and updated are imperative values that each one of us
have to learn, imbibe and act upon in our lives.
The Principal, Rev Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, in his address
said that leadership is more than just titles and badges
- which are fleeting in life. What remains are the
mannerisms in which we shoulder the responsibilities
given to us. As leaders, all must develop the values of
humanity, service and humility to be not just a good
leader, but an effective one.
The event came to close with Ms Shriya J Poojary of
Grade 10, expressing the Vote of Thanks, followed by the
singing of the school anthem. Ms Riveena Lobo of Grade
10 compered the event.
