Thankful Hearts and Shining Stars: Thanksgiving Day Celebration at Trinity Central School
Trinity Central School hosted a
heartwarming Thanksgiving Day Celebration on March 21st,
bringing together students, teachers, and dignitaries to
reflect on the blessings of the past year. The event was
marked by gratitude, inspiring speeches, and the
recognition of outstanding achievements.
The ceremony was beautifully compered by Ms. Lizvita
Mural Vaz, who guided the program seamlessly. The event
began with a prayer led by the school choir, invoking
blessings for the year ahead. The Principal, Rev. Fr.
Dominic Sunil Lobo, along with Vice Principal and
Administrator Rev. Fr. Ravi Rajesh Serrao, Academic
Coordinator Ms. Magdalena Lewis, Primary Section Head
Dr. Poornima Devadiga, and Pre-primary Section Head Ms.
Renita Monteiro, graced the occasion.
Students Shawn (Grade 5), Navith (Grade 9A), and Sanvi
Jathan (Grade 9C) shared heartfelt experiences,
reflecting on their journey throughout the year. Their
words highlighted the values of gratitude, perseverance,
and teamwork. The most awaited part of the event, the
prize distribution ceremony, celebrated students'
achievements in academics, sports, and extracurricular
activities. Awards were presented for 100% attendance,
Olympiads, and various accolades, recognizing the
dedication and hard work of the students. Additionally,
Cubs, Bulbuls, and Scouts students were honored with
certificates for their active participation and
commitment to scouting programs.
The event concluded with the Principal announcing the
best-performing class in assembly activities and the
best house winner for the year. A vote of thanks was
delivered by Ms. Sujatha, expressing gratitude to the
management, staff, and students for making the event a
grand success. The Thanksgiving Day celebration in
school was a memorable occasion, fostering a spirit of
gratitude, teamwork, and motivation among the students
as they look forward to another year of learning and
achievements.
