Session on importance of Naturopathy in daily life.
The National Naturopathy Day is
celebrated on 15 November every year. The day emphasizes
the importance of integrating naturopathy into daily
life to achieve holistic health. This day serves as a
platform to educate the public on how natural methods
and practices can significantly enhance physical,
mental, and emotional well-being.
The event was held at Trinity Central School, Perampally,
under the theme “Embrace the nature’s bliss.” The
session was organized by Sri Dharmasthala
Manjunatheshwara College of Naturopathy and Yogic
Sciences, Ujire.
The event was structured around interactive sessions.
The participants learned the fundamental principles of
naturopathy, which revolves around the idea of
self-healing through nature. Speakers emphasized the
body’s innate ability to heal itself when supported with
proper care, diet, and natural remedies. The
significance of balancing work, rest, and recreation was
discussed.
Students were encouraged to avoid processed foods and
sedentary habits, replacing them with wholesome eating
and regular physical activity. A special session focused
on the role of plant-based diets and the importance of
consuming seasonal and organic foods.
Expert nutritionists highlighted how poor dietary
choices could lead to lifestyle diseases and how
naturopathy can combat them. Participants were guided on
techniques to improve focus and reduce stress using
naturopathy and meditation. The program created greater
awareness about the scientific foundation of naturopathy
and its accessibility.
The National Naturopathy Day celebration provided an
enriching experience for all students, emphasizing the
relevance of naturopathy in today’s fast-paced world. By
focusing on diet, lifestyle, and mental well-being, the
event reiterated the importance of aligning with nature
to achieve a balanced and healthy life.
