"A fun-filled celebration of Rain ! A day at the sludgy fields" : Trinity Central school

"Sunshine brings happiness but those who have danced in the rain know better as the heaven opens and raindrops drizzle the earth, old wells revive, tea coloured puddles form wet fields a deep serenade of peace overwhelms the earth"
Trinity Central School has been captivating the essence and traditions of Udupi through amazing presentations over the years. This was proved yet again as the school hosted "Let's get sludgy" a day at the sludgy fields" on the 29th of June 2024 at Bhandasale fields of Perampalli. The president of the program Rev.Dr.John Alwyn Dias, chief guest Mr. Yashpal Suvarna, MLA of Udupi, "Tulunada Manikya" Mr Aravinda Bolar, a famous comedian of Tulu film industry, Rev Fr Vishal Lobo, Parish Priest Perampally, the Principal Rev. Fr. Dominic Sunil Lobo, the Vice Principal and the Administrator Rev. Fr. Ravi Rajesh Serrao, Academic Coordinator Ms. Magdalina Lewis, PTA president Mr. Srinivas G were present on the dais. To the beats of the drum, resonance of trumpets and with a thunderous applause the guests were escorted in a ceremonial way. With grace and poise, the fidelity for our culture was glorified with the procession from the school to the Bhandasale field. A wonderful day began by glorifying the Almighty, through a prayer song sung by the staff. Ms. Benta Dsouza welcomed the gathering. In his message, Mr.Yashpal Suvarna MLA of Udupi, highlighted the benefits of sludgy day and praised the school for organizing such an event. He said, "This is the first time a school has organized an event like this." He stressed that such programmes will help the children to bring them into the rural mindset and future generations can understand our tradition. He also remembered his school days where there was no such celebration, so he thanked the institution for taking a commendable step in organizing the event.
