Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration at Trinity
The simplest act of kindness is by far
more powerful than a thousand heads bowing in prayer -Mahatma
Gandhi
Trinity Central school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with
great delight on 2nd October 2024.
The program, which was held in the trinitorium was
hosted by scouts and guides students.
The ceremony commenced with the showering flower petals
to the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi by the school's
Principal Rev Father Dominic Sunil Lobo Vice-Principal,
Administrator Rev Father Ravi Rajesh Serrao, coordinator
Ms Magdalena Lewis, Section Heads, teachers and
students. It was followed by the lighting of lamp to
symbolize enlightenment and respect for this great
leader.
Students and teachers from scouts, guides, cubs,
bulbulls led the gathering in all-faith prayer.
On this occasion principal Rev Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo
spoke about Gandhian principals and importance of the
day.
During the programme Ms.Saanchi of grade 5 spoke about
the importance of Gandhi Jayanthi.
Scouts and guides students compered the programme.
On this occasion students along with the teachers joined
their hands in cleaning the surroundings. This serene
act set the tone for the day’s celebrations, imbued with
a spirit of unity, truthfulness, and love for the
environment.
