TRINITY CELEBRATES KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA - A TRIBUTE TO KARNATAKA

Trinity School celebrated the spirit of Karnataka with immense pride and patriotic fervour on 1st November 2026. The auspicious day marking the formation of our beloved state began with a solemn flag-Hoisting Ceremony, where the state flag fluttered high, filling every heart with love for our Naadu Nudi.

The programme commenced with a warm Introduction and welcome, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and prosperity. The formal programme was ably compered by *Sharanya and Trishika of Grade 6, who led the event with confidence and grace.

Adding meaning to the day, Bhuvi of Grade 5 delivered an insightful speech on the significance of Kannada Rajyotsava. The highlight of the celebration was a colourful cultural presentation by the students of Grades 4, 5, 6 and 7, who came dressed as famous Kannada poets and writers, bringing alive the rich literary heritage of Karnataka on stage. This special segment was beautifully introduced and compered by Felisha, Elria, Rithika of Grade 6 and Charvi, Ganavi and Anika Prashanth of Grade 5.

The celebration was further enriched by a soulful Kannada song rendered by our teachers and a vibrant, energetic dance performance by our students of Grade 6 and 7 that captured the cultural essence of our state.

On this auspicious occasion the Cubs and Bulbul achievers who have completed their Rajya Puraskara Exam were honoured by the Principal Rev. Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo and Vice Principal Rev Fr Amar Antony Lobo with the certificates.

The inspiring words of our Principal urged everyone to take pride in our mother tongue and preserve our cultural values. The programme reached its crescendo with the soul-stirring rendition of the State Anthem, 'Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate', sung in unison by all present.

The day concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. It was truly a memorable celebration that rekindled love for Kannada language and culture in every Trinitarian heart.
