Teachers' Day Celebration - 4th September 2026

The school celebrated Teachers' Day with grace, gratitude and heartfelt reverence to the mentors who shape the lives of the students. The celebration commenced with a serene prayer song by the school choir, invoking blessings for all our teachers.

This was followed by the Heads of the Institution offering a floral tribute to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose life and ideals we commemorate on this day. Aisha Daniya of Grade 9 extended a warm and eloquent welcome to the gathering. The day unfolded with vibrant expressions of love, a lively dance performance by the students of Grade 9 and a delightful and thoughtful skit presented by Grade 7.

Seana D'lima of Grade 9 delivered an insightful speech, highlighting the significance of Teachers' Day and reflecting on the profound contributions of Dr. Radhakrishnan as a philosopher, educator and statesman. Adding melody to the moment, the school choir captivated the audience with a wonderful orchestra performance. A solemn and inspiring moment of the celebration was the Teachers' Pledge, where our teachers reaffirmed their commitment to nurture, guide and inspire every child with dedication and integrity. The pledge was administered by the Principal to all teachers.

In his speech Rev. Fr. Manohar, spoke eloquently on the irreplaceable role of teachers in building character and society. This was followed by an inspiring and encouraging address by our Principal. The programme was compered with poise and confidence by Aman Naik and Shiza Noor of Grade 9. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ramona of Grade 9, expressing her sincere gratitude to all who made the day memorable. It was truly a day that celebrated the spirit of teaching with respect, joy and deep appreciation.

Happy Teachers' Day to all our beloved teachers.
